Wading Through Bahari Exhibition Lets You Enjoy Design Works at Maritime Museum

The Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit has been opening the Wading Through Bahari exhibition from April 23 to May 31 at Maritime Museum, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, displaying approximately 40 interior design works for Maritime Museum.
It shows students participation to help develop the museum
Its exhibition held in collaboration with the Interior Design Team of Pelita Harapan University (UPH).
Maritime Museum Management Unit Head Berkah Shadaya said it aimed at bringing back Indonesia's maritime glory through the interior design concept of the Jakarta Maritime Museum.

He hopes UPH students' interior layout designs for Maritime Museum could help the museum for competing with other museums and become the pride of Jakarta.
The Dean of UPH Faculty of Design Martin Luqman Katoppo explained that the exhibition displayed Maritime Museum layout designs made by 12 UPH students.
According to him, Maritime Museum was chosen because it had a long historical value thus his side intended to provide input regarding the new exhibition system.
"This is also a new challenge for students. Hopefully, the exhibition will get a good response from the public and become an advancement for this museum," he conveyed.
A museum visitor named Punto (62) assessed that it was an amazing exhibition. He expected the design could be implemented soon because the public wanted a change in Maritime Museum's interior.
"It shows students' participation to help develop the museum," he stated.
